Check the pump is connected directly to a mains power socket, the socket is switched on and the circuit breaker below the plug has been reset.

Try a different socket.

More often than not, this is due to a blocked filter.

Turn the pump off at the wall, carry out the remedy below and then turn the pump back on again (don’t forget to reset the circuit breaker below the plug too).

Simply unscrew the filter cover, remove the filter and rinse under running water e.g. garden hose to clean before replacing.

Also check for hair and other things that may be blocking the inlet/outlet.

Other causes can be:

Insufficient water. If the water level has dropped below the marker on the side, add water until the level is between the markers.

It can also be caused by plugging into an extension lead as these often can’t supply enough power to run the pump at full power. Plug directly into a mains socket instead.

E03 – It’s too cold.

If the ambient temperature is below 10°c the pump will need to warmed up.

E04 – It’s too hot.

Turn the pump off and allow it to cool down/provide shade as necessary.

E05 – Pump needs resetting.

After either of the above has been done, turn off and on at the wall (and reset the circuit breaker) then press reset button on side of pump.

Flow restrictions could also cause this, please check filters and blockages (see E01).

The pump is experiencing a power or electrical fault.

Check it is fully plugged into the wall (not an extension lead) and there is no visible damage to the cable, plug, socket or pump unit.

Turn off and on at the wall (and reset the circuit breaker) then press reset button on side of pump.

The pump has detected water internally.

This could be due to an internal fault, or a dislodged connection following boisterous activity.

Switch the pump off at the wall and check the connections are tight and dry.

If they are, please contact us ASAP and do not use the pump.

The pump has failed, please contact us ASAP.

The pump has a very sensitive built in electrical ground fault detector that can often detect an electrical fault in another appliance connected to the same circuit, and is often temporary.

Switch the pump off for 5 minutes, then on again.

If it occurs when another appliance is switched on (e.g. a kettle, shower, TV, etc.) switch the other appliance off and consult an electrician.
